Center for Women’s Health Adopts ABC Party

Since 2002, families who used the ABC (A Baby’s Coming) program were treated to a holiday party at the Gateway Health Plaza. It was no different in 2018, although the families now are served through the Center for Women’s Health, as the two programs have been combined.

Once again, Santa held court on the third floor in December, and his workshop was opened for children to visit and select a toy. Youngsters were invited to make a holiday craft, take home a stuffed animal (donated by PetSmart of Vacaville), and of course, tell old St. Nick what they wanted for Christmas.

According to Mary Jameson, director for Women’s Health, 145 families were served with each receiving a $25 gift card to Target. More than 300 children were signed up for the Dec. 21 visit, and toys, donated by employees, Guild volunteers, managers, directors and the public, were plentiful, filling up numerous exam rooms in the Center for Women’s Health.
